Did anyone else notice this possible foreshadowing for Delena? ;)

K so basically Katherine told Damon "Don't be a hero 或者 you'll end up dead." When he replied with "been there, done that." He was obviously referring to when Stefan and him died for her and then he tells her how it wasn't worth it to die for her but "Next time, it will."

Could this be foreshadowing Delena? What do 你 think? I thought that 由 saying 下一个 time he will, that he'd die for Elena maybe? ;) Delena FTW. Remember that Kat told Stefan that it was worth it when he died for her because he did it for love? Maybe Damon would do it because he feels REAL 爱情 for Elena. ^^ I just felt this could be a foreshadowing.
