更多 of a plain, badly written and flat character but not exactly a Mary Sue, at least not NEARLY as much of a Mary Sue as some heroines from other YA novels that have a) super powers from the get go b) are hot regardless of being 14 或者 20 and literally every single male character wants a romantic/sexual relationship with them c) are rude to every person they meet and yet still everyone believes they are awesome. Bella isn't really any of it, that's why I find her 更多 bearable. She at least has some humanity and some relatable qualities and character traits despite how sloppy the 写作 of Twilight is in general (imo).
