Help!!!
I just watched S01E 02 and there're some parts that I don't get.
1.When ellie was telling Jules her crazy things in her 20s. She said the only time she was ever awake was when she was in her 20s. Then she said she remembers this crazy night that started in new york and ended up in miami. was she talking about the same night?
2. jules rushed through the fountain and said, i spent so much time doing my hair, that felt like cheating death. what exactly does "that" refer to? and what does she mean by that?

Can anyone help me?It's killing me!
I'd really appreciate it if someone can do me this favor.
