Why do the 迪士尼 princesses look OLDER than their actual age?

It might be because in our modern society it would be unlikely to see a sixteen 年 old girl getting married like aurora and ariel. So the animator make them look older, 更多 women-like, so we can forget that their real age is so young for what they are suppose to go trought in their movie.

Snow White is supposed to be 15. I've even heard that she could be 13. I think I officially read that she was 15 though somewhere. I think they also look older than their ages because that is the way the media makes it appear today. A lot of the cast of High School Musical were in their 20's playing as 17, 18 年 olds. One was even 30. Whether it be animated 或者 live action, people don't often match an accurate image of (for example) age to the real thing but to an altered image from the media.

As time went on, notice, Disney's princesses have become progressively older. Rapunzel is 18, and I believe Tiana is in her 20s. The original princesses; such as Snow White, 灰姑娘 and Aurora; were made in such a time where realism was not a factor exactly brought into mind. A snarky teenager wouldn't dazzle the little girls, but a graceful young woman would; but nobody wants a role model that OLD. That's why I think so.
