Why couldn't God have just forgiven everyone without sacrificing a part of himself? I thought God was Powerful.

I relate God to parenting. When your child makes a mistake, 你 don't condemn them forever. 你 forgive them. But the best parent teaches their child the consequences of their mistake. When a student bullies another student, I forgive the child for his transgression, but not before I make sure he understands exactly why what he did was wrong, and the best way to do this (I've seen) is to help him understand - and not just superficially "know" - the pain he has caused. I believe that was one thing God was doing with Christ.

The other reason the death of Christ is necessary is because it was 由 his sacrifice that forgiveness was truly possible. His symbol of true 爱情 and devotion showed us what we could be, as it was the epitome of the goodness and best of humanity. He gave Himself to save the rest of us.

This is how I've come to see it, anyway. Perhaps as an agnostic, I am not the best qualified, but there's my answer.

God is all powerful, yes. to sacrifice his son, who had never sinned, was a way to break the hold of Satan on us. 耶稣 knew what was going to happen, he could have done something to save himself, but he chose to die for us. he loved us so much that he couldn't stand to see us sin. God showed that he would rather die than let us suffer in Hell because of our sins.

God had forgiven everyone that's why his only son sacrificed himself for us.
God is almighty never should his power 或者 爱情 ever be doubted

God could have but that wouldn't stop people from sinning. God loves his creation but its not like people make things easy for God, so God get angry and sad when he tells people what it takes to rejoin in in heaven and not have to suffer the torment of hell.

He flooded the earth because of all the abominations that took place, same with Jesus. He sent his son because man 由 themselves couldn't (or rather very few) couldn't do what they had to do. Most people either were pagan 或者 Jew (plus converted Jews) who did the physical parts of being a "Jew" (religion) and not having the 爱情 of God in their hearts.

This is going to take a wile, but just hang in there.

He had to because He is holy. He cannot look upon sin. And the sacrificing bit. Here's how it got started.
Old testament, they had an old covenant, where, every year, a 羊肉, 羔羊 was sacrificed for the sins of the people. When that sacrifice was made, God covered their sins. This happened for many years.

But, then 耶稣 came. He made a new covenant. On one of those years, HE was the lamb. He was sacrificed for the sins of EVERYONE, past present and future. Why? Because He was perfect. No sin at all. When he hung on that cross, everyone's sin of all time was placed upon him.
Because of Him, we have free access into God's presence. And 由 his blood, ALL our sins are washed away.

he wanted us to know how much he loved us, if he had just forgiven us, we would have gone on our merry ways, still being separated from God, 耶稣 was the bridge that drew us close to God, so we could become close 老友记 with God, 你 see before, we were simply his creation and now we are his children.
God wanted to come down to us in human form so that we could see him and be with him in person, get to know him. So instead of him being just the guy upstairs he's our father, friend, brother, notice God was seldom referred to that way in the old testament
and he wanted to 显示 us how much he loved us 由 giving up something precious for us.
before, we used to have to make sacrifices for our sins, but God wanted to 显示 us that he will sacrifice himself so that we will no longer have to sacrifice, the bible says what greater 爱情 than this than for a man to lay down his life for his friends? maybe god was trying to 显示 us that he possessed that kind of 爱情 in his 心 for us
