Sadly, Dec. 8 marks the 10 year anniversary of the tragic death of Pantera legend Dimebag Darrell. We’ve spoken to a number of music acts to offer their thoughts on the guitar great. Here, Black Veil Brides reflect on Dimebag and his influence on their music.

In addition to guitarists Jinxx and Jake Pitts speaking about Dimebag’s guitar talents, bassist Ashley Purdy recalls seeing Pantera when he was a young kid. Meanwhile, frontman Andy Biersack talks about the good times the band has had hanging out with Dime’s longtime girlfriend Rita Haney.
