Esmeralda ( Demi Moore), has a lovely, velvet undertone to her words, and I mentally get chills when Heidi Mollenhauer's deeply beautiful, and raspy voice sings God Help The Outcasts. Megara (Susan Egan) has a great speaking voice and a great 唱歌 voice ( She played Belle a couple of times on Broadway, I think). I prefer her as Meg, though. Susan Egan is the only "belter" I actually think sounds good at full volume. Hmm. I think Christopher Daniel Barnes, who voices Eric, has the sexist voice out of all of the princes. I think he was great as the voice for Charming in the third 灰姑娘 sequel. Barnes sounds like a normal, genuine, non-exaggerated guy, which is something I like. I don't like bravado in a voice. 花木兰 (Ming Na Wen) has a good speaking voice. What amazed me most, was her delivery. She manages to make 花木兰 sound skeptical, down-to-earth, and unpretentious. Ariel ( Jodi Benson's voice has this "infectious enthusiasm" and " an innocent sexuality" that none of the other voice actors, who have voiced DPs over the years, have managed to nail. They all tend to over-exaggerate the enthusiasm 或者 the "sass." It's not just the 唱歌 voice for Ariel, it's her speaking voice, too. Jodi Benson did a great job, because Ariel's speaking voice is in perfect balance with her 唱歌 voice). Dante Basco as Prince Zuko, is terrific. Mako Iwamatsu, the original voice actor for Uncle Iroh, was phenomenally gifted in conveying all kinds of emotion in a single "grunt." Sadly, he passed in 2006. Mako, in The Legend of Korra, is named after him, though.
