The Game of Thrones character Catelyn Stark is the wife of the main series character Lord Stark. She and Lord Stark, otherwise know as Ned Stark have five children. As a mother of five she has her work cut out for her but a sixth child is also involved in the Stark family affairs. He is the son of Ned but Catelyn is not his mother although she is not unkind to this son called Jon Snow.As the Lady of the Stark house Catelyn is a powerful woman and woe betides anyone who crosses her.

Catelyn is an upstanding member of the community at Winterfell where she and Ned live with the five children who are Arya, Bran Sansa, Robb and Rickon.Catelyn loves her children and husband and heaven forbid anyone who gets in her way as she is a strong willed woman and takes her duties as matriarch of the household very seriously.

Catelyn is the oldest daughter of Lord Hoster and Lady Minisa Tully and when she was only twelve years old she became betrothed to Brandon Stark. She did not have any say in the matter but Petyr Baelish did and he challenged Brandon to a duel for the right to marry Catelyn. Even then, at the tender age of 12 years, she had two men fighting for her. Petyr 迷失 heavily to Brandon, so the matter was settled as to whom she would wed.
*Catelyn Marriage*
The marriage never took place as Brandon was killed, alongside his father, and the 标题 of Lord fell to the 下一个 son in line who was Eddard (Ned) Stark. Catelyn thus became the wife of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell, somewhat 由 default.
She hardly knew Ned when the wedding bells tolled but as in such arranged marriages the pair grew to 爱情 each other and the match was deemed, 由 all, to be a very successful one begetting five children in the process. The best has yet to be seen of this formidable Lady of Winterfell and her future actions are greatly anticipated.
