i think the way it ended allowed everyone to have their own thoughts as to what their characters would do, i think the first thing they did after the last line was willow pushed kennedy and faith pushed principle wood in to crater and xander jumped in after them then the rest of the characters went to go have a burger....accept giles who of course had a scone or something

See, Debs is completely correct, but I believe after the entire fight they lacked the budget they needed to do the splat-ing correctly.

yeah i kinda read the comics but the buffy ones arn't as good as they used to be and i'm a bit behind,

im loving the fray corssover they got a little dry but there picking up again

I kind of gave up on the comics. I sort of found them to be ending up like bad fanfiction.

i only find that with the buffy ones i think the angel ones are still just as good

yes that would be great, but a movie would be great! maybe oz would come back, and spike would go and tell everybody (especially buffy) that he's alive, kennedy would go evil, tara's ghost would come to see willow (but she wouldn't come back to life) and lots of other stuff. with some good fights and plenty of spuffy love scenes!!

Yes, of course. I like my imagination, but canon just feels so much more official. But I do use the comics for that. And actually, I feel that with the last two arcs, the Buffy Season 8 comics have much improved. They're great now, even better than the Angel/Spike: After the Fall stuff.

I agree with so many of you naysayers, but I'm a sucker for things like this. I'm happy with how it ended, but I would have loved to see where they all were living, and where they had progressed to in their lives.

Edit - I hear so many of you talk about the comics. Can I read them online? Do you think they're worth it?

No i really liked the way it ended it was nice and hopeful. I like part of debs theory except the xander part. Ive read the buffy post season 7 book dark congress and i kinda think that could otentially happen although i wish it included andrew amd spike
