I just watched the whole of Buffy for about the million'th time and i decided i actally really like some characters more then i did before.

I really love Drusilla, Giles and Anya aswell though!

1- BUFFY (i know that's such an obvious choice....but she's such an incredibly witty yet sensitive character and a self boasting yet selfless heroine)
2- WILLOW (in my opinion willow is the one character that if you remove from the show...the entire dynamic of the show would change)
3- ANGEL/ANGELUS (i love the broody tall dark and handsome cliche! and while others find his love for buffy creepy or stalkerish- i find it epically romantic. i couldnt help finding his obsession with Buffy incredible- soulful or souless the one person in the world he became so completely obsessed with was Buffy)
4- GILES (some people might be surprised about how high up on my list he is....but his interactions with buffy are so heartwarming and incredible....and i actually also really love his interactions with xander!)
5- XANDER (the fact that he is so willing to be surrounded by women and does not allow this to threaten his masculinity- he's really so special. and xander in the first few seasons is HYSTERICAL! hes funny later on, but not as funny in my opinion)
6- CORDELIA (first season she was the b*tch i loved to hate, but after that she actually became a surprisingly complex character- and also sooo funny)
7- SPIKE (season 2 spike was the epitome of cool! spike's witty banter and sexiness make him so great!)
8- FAITH (arguably the most complex BtVS character- she craved acceptance more than anyone on the show, yet had such desire to be an outsider as well. her inner struggle between her desire to rebel and her desire to be loved--- it's what makes for legendary television!)
9- OZ (for 2 main reasons: when he chooses to speak on the show, the words that come out of his mouth are always awe-inspiring or just so funny! after season 2 spike, id say hes the "coolest" character, and the second reason being that he found willow sexy not just for her personality but because he thought willow dressed up as an eskimo was adorable)
10- JOYCE (apparently im the only one to have her on their list.... i just love watching her interact with buffy. it's so obvious how much she loves her daughter and craves nothing else but to understand her daughter, but is never able to truley understand her yet nonetheless she provides her with so much love and support)

if the list could continue id of course add anya, tara, and drusilla. i also love jonathan and andrew- but more purely for entertainment, not because i draw this huge connection to them when i watch them on screen.
and i actually love willow and tara as a couple more than willow and oz....but simply looking at each character, i like oz better than tara.

**in no particular order**

1) Spike- I love Spike. Not just for his looks, but Spike was an addition to how Buffy is feeling, and why she reacts in certain ways. Spike is funny, sarcastic, and just out there. He's bold, loyal. He is a strong character and loves blindly and strongly. He has changed so much throughout the course of Buffy and Angel. Soul or no soul, Spike can love and do good.

2) Buffy- She is everything I wish I could be, even though she is a fictional character.

3) Xander- He is hilarious! And I'm probably one of the few that actually forgave him for leaving Anya at the altar.

4) Willow- Willow is that introverted, awkward character that grows into an amazing woman right before your eyes.

5) Angel- I love me a broody vampire.


6) Tara- She is by far an underestimated character and I absolutely love her!


7) Angelus- What can I say exceot, I'm a sucker for the bad boys<3

8) Giles- He is the heart of the show. Without him, Buffy would not be the amazing woman and slayer she turned into. Also, his dry humor was priceless!

9) Cordelia- I loved how she spoke whatever she was feeling, regardless of the consequences. We need more people like her in this world.


10) Jenny- She was amazing! I wish she would have had more screen time. We could have explored her lineage and past more, and it would have been interesting.
