Have any of 你 ever done this?

Once a year, usually in October, we do this thing at my school where if we choose, we come in in the morning & someone ties a red ribbon around our wrist. It's a sign that we've 给 up our voice for the 日 in defense of all the unborn 婴儿 who can't speak for themselves. I know also that some people do this a little differently 由 putting red tape on their mouths. Have any of 你 ever tried it?
