你 shouldnt be terrified to use tampons but 你 can get TSS if 你 dont use the tampons correctly (i put a link below to learn at 更多 about tampons). in every box of tampon theres a paper that tells 你 how to use it & how long to have it on, my tampons say up to 8 hours. 你 just need to know which size 你 need to wear depending on how heavy your flow is.

my first time, i was nervous but it was easy when i read the instructions. But when i had it on the first time i knew i had it on wrong, like i didnt have it on all the way. if 你 can REALLY feel your tampon while its on then something is wrong & it needs to be fixed, so i heard.

Tampons really hurt the first time. I didn't do it right, really, because I didn't read the directions. But now that I DO know, it doesn't hurt anymore, and it's useful when going to the pool on you're period.

Also, TSS is very RARE. I wouldn't worry about it, because these days, doctors say 你 can get infections from just about everything.

I was about 14 when I first tried tampons. I couldn't get it all the way in no matter what i tried, i followed the instuctions but it couldn't go all the way in and it really hurt.

I was using some my mom had bought and they where really thick. Now I use slimmer ones, so make sure 你 get the right size.
