Is anyone here an adult beginner? (16+ when 你 started?)

I just turned 17 on thursday, I bought my slippers today, and I'll be starting in an open adult beginner class in the 下一个 couple months.
I'm really nervous, could anyone please give me 建议 on what it'll be like 或者 how I could prepare?
