	SG1-090 picked Toph: BLIND Earthbender, and Inventor of Metalbending: Toph Aang Azula Katara Aang and Toph were a masters by 12, and of course Toph invented Metal Bending and can see with her earth bending. I would say that Aang and Toph are the best benders of their element. But as was pointed out below Aang is the avatar....i'm changing my order! Toph and Azula are pretty much tied in this case. But Toph is the very first metalbender that we know of-probably in Avatar history. It's pretty badass. Not to mention she's a blind earthbender who can still kick your ass because she learned to "see" the ground from the badgermoles.
