It had been a long day. A hard day. One of the hardest in his short reign as King of Camelot. 秒 only to the 日 he'd forced himself to deny his own heart.

A dear, trusted friend had lied. Had run. Had been, 由 all presented evidence, presumed guilty of treason. And another dear, trusted friend blamed him for it.

Arthur Pendragon walked into his bedchambers feeling dejected.

Broken.

Alone.

And then there she was.

His Guinevere.

His sunshine...

It is just before dawn in Camelot. A dark figure is coursing stealthily through the streets, keeping to the shadows, avoiding any guards on patrol. The figure stops outside the door of a house and slips silently inside.
The cloaked figure approaches the 床, 床上 and produces a trumpet-shaped 花 of red and 金牌 and holds it aloft. Morgana gazes at the flower. A whispered incantation, a flash of her eyes, and she tips the flower, pouring a fine 金牌 dust that settles on Guinevere’s sleeping eyelids. It shimmers for just a moment before it disappears....

    Arthur wakes before Guinevere, which is a new experience for him. He turns his head look at her sleeping form and spoons up behind her, wrapping his arm around her. He closes his eyes and Gwen moves, snuggling backward, wriggling her rear slightly into him. His eyes open again when she does this.
    Is she awake? he wonders. He listens. It doesn’t seem so, but let’s see.
    He caresses her stomach softly with his hand and nuzzles her neck. She sighs, but her eyes are still closed. Up 或者 down? he thinks, trying...

She’s not sure what Arthur has in mind for the evening, but she decides to stay in her work clothes and pack something 更多 comfortable. That way she’s prepared whether they go out and stay in. Sooooo sorry this has taken so long to get to you. It's quite long, which I didn't intend, but hope 你 don't mind. I've truly had fun 写作 this one. I wanted to 显示 various aspects of Arthur/Gwen's relationship -- king/queen/mom/dad/husband/wife -- they are the whole of what I think 爱情 should be.
