We’ve known King Arthur to be pig-headed before, but his blindness to the truth has dire consequences this week as season five hits the halfway mark. After the blinkered royal falls from his mount during an ambush 由 brigands, he rounds on poor stablehand Tyr and accuses him of sabotage. Anyone who saw last week’s cheery chapter in the Dark Tower will know who’s really to blame, and even though Merlin turns detective to draw out the culprit, he’s soon fighting against time.

But Merlin’s amusingly crabby alter ego makes an overdue return, and the line “Keep yer grubby hands off my dumplings” is a surprise, so it’s not all doom and gloom.

7/13. Morgana finds herself in a unique position of power, having a Camelot insider under her spell - and now the pair hatch a plot to murder the king. But when stable hand Tyr Seward becomes caught in the crossfire, he threatens to ruin everything. Can a suspicious Merlin unravel the truth before it is too late?

EvieFriday I really don't know how to feel about this episode. Angel will have lots of screen time to really show off her amazing acting skills but I don't want the 'Evil Gwen' plot line to go on too long because she had enough upset last series.

kbrand5333 Could be good. Please no ridiculous shenanigans with Dragoon, though. Please.

Bonne-Bell I have a feeling this is going to be played for laughs. Hence the return of Dragoon.

Bonne-Bell Oh, something I didn't pick up on when I read this earlier. Some people have been speculating if Gwen has been brainwashed or if she's under a spell and I think this reviewer has pretty much let the cat out of the bag with that last paragraph.

kbrand5333 Yeah, they never made it clear in the last episode that she was under a spell. I mean, we all know it here, but we hot the hook-ups.

MOPENDRAGON I hope it's a good epi, in spite of the enchantment...we shall see.

After the drama of her imprisonment in The Dark Tower last week, plus the untimely death of her impetuous brother Sir Elyan, it is no wonder the 皇后乐队 appears to be a little out of sorts. It is also the perfect cover for some devilishly evil doings. Of course, we the audience know perfectly well that Gwen is under the influence of Morgana but that remains a secret not shared with the rest of Camelot.

Now, the majority of 你 have seen the first few episodes of Merlin and it is glaringly apparent that ARWEN is a non-starter this season. I think in all honesty and politely we need to tweet merlinofficial and let them know our displeasure.

This is unacceptable. We are the majority of the audience for God's sake and our OTP is intentionally on every level being pushed aside and doing it to the point where it has become so obvious and ridiculous.

It is clear that they want no interaction for the couple. The only interaction must be with Arthur and Merlin and this is not only lopsided it is gravely...
