No I have never went to anime convention..there are times I wish I could..and I'm not sure I pay attention to where one is located to say there aren't any near me.

I went to one either three or four years ago with a friend. It was awesome! I loved the stuff they were selling, even though it was really expensive. The watching anime part was my favourite. :) If I have time I might go again someday.

Actually, I think there is one hosted close, but I am just a brand new anime otaku (first watch anime about 9 months ago); and I WILL go to a convention someday, even if I have to cross half the country
