The life of the seemingly normal Japanese teenager Hatsune Miku, Known as Miku all 'round, She was a normal girl, one no one would look too far into if they didn't need to, a happy, regular girl. Of course she had her own friend circle, This consisted of the older Megurine Luka, who also happened to be her landlord. And one who she'd been dear 老友记 with for the Longest time, Kaito. Little did she know that one incident would change many around her. Miku had been fairly interested in playing Musical instruments and 唱歌 though she wasn't one that excelled at either, Rather, 钢琴 was her only real skill. Never the center of attention until...

"Hmm? What are 你 going on about Miku? It's Sunday, why would 你 of all people want to go to school?" Kaito inquired mockingly

Miku didn't take lightly to this, she puffed her cheeks, "I have my reasons... I'm gonna go with 或者 without you!!" She exclaimed

Kaito sighed grinding his face in his palm "With 或者 without me huh? Why do 你 have to make me worry about 你 so much...? Seriously, why?"

"You know damn well I'm not your sister 或者 anything so 你 don't have to treat me like I am!" She 说 weakly flailing gently on his chest "Ugh! Just Shut up 你 Idiot!"

"Huh?! What did I do?!"

"You know very well what 你 did!!"

"Wha-? No, No I DON'T know!"

"Well whatever, lie, I don't care..."

"But I'm not...--" He sighed "Oh, Forget it."

"Anyway." She regained her composure and straightened out her 短裙, 裙子 "We just have to go there for like, five minutes, I swear Kaito-kun! Pleeeeeeeease?" She begged him with puppy-dog eyes.

He quickly turned his head away scratching the back of his neck "Oh Damnit... 你 already know I can't refuse that face..." He sighed and rubbed his face, disappointed in himself for giving in so easily. "Oh, I'm gonna regret this later, I KNOW I will."

Unbeknownst to Kaito he was 更多 right than he could have feared. Today was the 日 everything changed

(14 分钟 Later)

"MIKU!! Oh my god Miku!!! Wake up please!! Stay with us!!" A woman Screamed faintly

"I-I'm sorry..." Miku managed to mutter weakly before losing consciousness.

"What happened Kaito-kun?! 你 were supposed to be looking out for her!! How could 你 let this happen?!" The woman yelled

"It wasn't ALL my fault!! So Please! Don't make me feel 更多 guilty than I already am...!" He Gritted his teeth violently clearly choking back tears.

"I trusted 你 with her safety but 你 didn't care enough to take this responsibility seriously and now look at what 你 Di-."

Kaito cut in, "I DID try!! Why would I WANT to get my friend Hurt?! She's one of my only 老友记 你 know!!" He screamed at the woman who was speechless What remained of Miku's already shaky breath was drowned out 由 the growing sirens wailing as the Paramedics swooped her into the 救护车 and sped off.

(Two and a half Weeks later)

Miku walked into class dressed slightly differently she was in a gray and light blue outfit with new shoes and partial sleeved stacked with a small integrated computer "Uhm... 嘿 everyone... I'm back...?" She 说 normally but she twiddles her thumbs not knowing what to say 下一个 out of embarrassment.

"You look so cute... Miku-chan..." One girl 说 softly in the back

Then everyone started shouting and celebrating her return saying things like "Welcome back Miku!" and "We missed 你 Miku-chan!"

"Oh, guys...!" She sniffled becoming emotional and happily smiling she saw Kaito and she stepped out of the crowd they stared each other down but just before Kaito could speak she hugged him. "I missed you, 你 dummy..." Miku 说 sniffling

"I missed 你 too Miku..." He 说 smiling patting her head "So, how 你 feeling? Better?"

She nodded smiling happily "Yup, a lot better!" She giggled tearing up wiping her eyes

Kaito smiled "Good to know, Ms. Luka was worried sick about you... This was my fault... I should have done a better job of keeping 你 safe..." He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth

"No, it was my own fault for being so unobservant... Don't beat yourself up over it. I got out with just a minor Concussion and a few broken ribs. I'll be just like new in no time!" She smiled merrily and placed a hand on his shoulder giving him a thumbs up giggling

He smiled back "Thanks Miku, I'm gonna head out now. I gotta go run some errands for Ms. Luka. I'll tell her to come in. Okay?"

"Alright, see 你 later Kaito-kun"

"Later, Miku." He walked out and waved to her before turning the corner.

The other students around the class watched the whole thing and they muttered to each other. "They're so perfect for each other", "I wish she'd just be honest with him." And other such comments

A young woman, not too much older than Miku and Kaito came running into the room "Miku!!" She hugged Miku tightly

Miku let out a little squeal of surprise "L-Luka?!" She gasped "What are 你 doing here...?!"

One of the guys n the class murmured to his friends, "Hey, look! It's Luka-sempai, she's supposedly a Teacher-in-training here! And her beauty can be compared to a GOD! She's been 给 the unofficial 标题 of The Substitute Goddess"

One of the others replied "You realize that irrelevant information is probably all you'll ever get to say in this story because we're just extras right?"

The first guy slumped in disappointment "Yeah..." He 说 with a pathetic moan.

Luka wiped tears from her eyes "I Heard 你 were better and here at the school, so I came to check, Nitta-sensei 说 你 were here in Homeroom so I came to check!"

Kaito looked at Luka trying to process what had just happened "Uhh... Wh-Wha--?"

Luka looked over at Kaito "Are 你 gonna take better care of her?" She glared at him intimidatingly.

He unconsciously saluted to her and blurted out, "Y-Yes ma'am!" still slightly flustered.

Luka and Miku giggled a bit and Luka said, "Looks like your Knight in shining armour has been reinstated 由 me, the queen! Hee hee!" She smiled patting Mikus head as she grew red.

Miku stammered "H-He's not my Knight he's just my friend..."

"Whatever 你 say..." Luka 说 with a sneer, "But enough of that, I'm glad you're okay. I don't know what kind of hell Kaito-kun would have been put through had things been any worse..." she sighed and turned around ready to walk out. "Just be ore careful okay?"

Kaito stammered "W-Wait! What?! Hell...?! What're 你 talking about Luka-san?!"

She looked back with an intimidating presence and 说 quietly, "You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about... Kaito-kun...!" She smiled mischievously and waved "Ta ta!"

"Bye Luka!" Miku 说 before she disappeared behind the walls and down the hallway

"Sheesh... That woman..." He shivered in fright "Brr..."

"Haha I won't let her do anything mean to you." Miku 说 cheerfully. Grabbing her arm confidently.

He gave a slight smile at her enthusiasm "Thanks Miku. It means a lot." He patter her head as she let out a quiet purr-like noise.

The 钟, 贝尔 chimes and everyone takes their seats as the Teacher begins Homeroom. After school Luka, Miku, and Kaito met at the school gate and talked.

"Hey, I have an Idea!" Kaito 说 sudden;y as they walked through town.

"What? What is it?" The two girls inquired exitedly.

"To celebrate Miku getting better let's all go sing Karaoke! We could Invite some others too, like those twins that won the Talent 显示 Last year."

Miku was jumping with excitement "Yay! Karaoke! It's been so long since I last went with 你 guys!"

"It HAS been a while hasn't it?" Luka was just as happy however she didn't 显示 it a lot.

Kaito smiled "Okay! It's settled! Karaoke!"

The three shot their hands up in a cheer, they then proceeded to walk to their usual spot at the Karaoke place. They got comfy and picked their Songs, at first it was mostly Kaito, Luka, and the Kagamine Twins 唱歌 solo and duets, then Miku's song came up, it started off slowly then began to pick up. She took a deep breath and began, but, she choked on the lyrics unable to sing them.

She panicked "Wh-What's happening to me?! Wh-Why can't I sing...?!" She was devastated, the 'beautiful' voice she was once renown for (Destroying people's Eardrums) was gone, it Vanished. She rushed out crying.

"M-Miku! Hold on!" Kaito yelled and went after her.

Luka sighed and stood up worriedly watching them rush out in a frenzy. "Oh, Dear..."

"Miku?! Where are you?!" Kaito called out through the bustling crowd of pedestrians. "Damnit... That Girl..."

"Waaaaaaahhh!" The young girl clad in blue rushed past as two dark figures emerged from the sidelines...
