I'm looking for new 日本动漫 to watch... Please can someone recommend some to me?

What I am looking for: plenty of characters that 你 can get very attached to and a good plot. I couldn't care less about the art. I don't want anything that's just slice of life, 或者 romance, 或者 anything cheesy. Please don't recommend anything with lots of fanservice. Ideally, I like an 日本动漫 with a good adventure.
