Is Princess Tutu good for kids to watch?

I never seen that anime. I heard of it though. A twelve-year-old friend I know is kind of in the mood to watch some cute and good 日本动漫 like Fruits Basket 或者 Full Moon wo Sagashite and I think Princess Tutu is the perfect one, but I never really saw it. It looked way too girlie for me, so is Princess Tutu appropriate for kids to watch?

I've never seen it...but I think it's okay/appropriate! It just has some mild bad language and bloodless violence..and a sad ending..I haven't seen it though..so I don't know how much violence 或者 cursing.
