The Cleric

Dovidia could brag of many things. It was the largest empire in the entirety of Albion and among the largest in all three of the inhabited continents. It was the center of the Church, the organization that oversaw the many denominations of the Good God’s faith on the continent. It was also a melting pot of a nation that was proactive in welcoming people of all shapes and sizes, so long as their spirit wasn’t blackened.

The power and influence Dovidia held was unparalleled. The current ruler united a religion across a land 由 winning favor with kings, tribe chiefs, emperors, and...

Chapter Fourteen: Assassination failed!

Ferral looked up at the darkening sky and wondered how Skye was doing. He was probably in Erylyn 由 now, at least if they covered as much distance as they'd been planning, but Ferral had a feeling that Skye was in one of those moods. While he was pondering, a messenger came swiftly on his brown mare; “excuse me, Military-Advisor Ser. Chapter Twelve: Preparations for a difficult journey

Koo'bit, Commander of the Barbarian Hordes, dodged a particularly 迅速, 斯威夫特 spell from one of the Argatians; he looked over to see how his troops were faring, but it looked like the Argatians were taking the most casualties. Koo'bit saw his master, Lord Altran, who was fighting one on one with the Mage-King of Argate, the Blessed One of the Magi'Ir. It looked like he was winning too; this was easy enough to take hold of Argate, almost like taking 糖果 from a baby, but Koo'bit knew it would get harder once they reached Counquan. Altran had spies...

Chapter Nine: A trader's adventure and the Beloved

Next Tresday Skye and Ferral went back to visit the Wood-factor again. Skye even remembered to bring his coin pouch, along with the eight platinum coins that Glynn had required for the rest of the fee. “I wonder what it's going to look like” Skye wondered, as he and Ferral approached the busy, little workshop. This time the Wood-factor's assistant was there also, who greeted them when they opened the door. “Welcome Sers. What can I do for you?” the assistant, named Kempton, asked them cheerily.
Glynn looked up, “go back to work. These...

Charles swung his broad sword in a wide arc as he jumped at the same time, putting 更多 force in the collision. Mars brought his spear up to block the strike with the shaft and locked his knees. They went skidding back, digging up the tile beneath their feet, and Charles poured his strength into his stance, pressing down on the blade. Mars, however, remained firm. He pushed to the side to redirect Charles’ sword and the blade slammed right into the floor with daunting strength. Mars grinned as he swung his spear around fiercely and Charles cocked his head in order to evade the strike. The...

Several tanks rolled across the hills of 草 of Moldova, far from the mundane eye, heading straight for the abandoned military compound in perfect formation. This battalion was closely followed 由 men on foot, dressed in all sorts of clothing, though 更多 than 80% were in armor, and all were wearing a red 交叉, 十字架 visible on their body. They had come from the westernmost portion of the European continent, from the land once known as the Holy Roman Empire as well as the Christian countries surrounding it, without ever once concerning themselves with the return trip. Capable of travelling across...

Chapter Six: Barbarians Galore!

“Ser, I can see a 云, 云计算 of dust about four 或者 five centimes from here, and it looks like it may be the Highlord-Commander already” Fyryd yelled from the 最佳, 返回页首 of one of the towers, where he had been placed as lookout.
Gunnar scowled, “which direction is it coming from?” he bellowed back.
“The same direction which we came from originally, Ser, unless the barbarians circled around to try and fool us” Fyryd suggested.
“Vaynh. I need 你 to send someone out the back to sneak around and observe, then we may learn if it is the Highlord-Commander 或者 the barbarians”...

The Knight

“I know that look. I’ve seen it on the faces of those who came before you, slinging weapons and hurling self-righteous insults, just like you. It’s a pretty selfish look, if 你 ask me. 你 came here looking for prestige and respect, but all you’ll find is an early death. Like the fools scattered at your feet, you’ll die as 你 lived. Unknown and insignificant. A mortal too stupid to see his own limits.”

Every hissing word that escaped that dragon’s jagged maw made Nethelio violently angry. What did a Fallen creature know about prestige? A hideous monster that hung around...

Sebastian and Spencer surprised a group of warriors from the Wild Hunt when they burst out of the front doors to the facility they had been in. It appeared that they were rushing to see what was going on above with all of the destruction. But after blinking at the two in surprise, they immediately attacked with their weapons. Spencer distracted them with a 淋浴 of arrows to allow him and Sebastian time to retreat. Working together to defeat two at once was one thing, but handling an entire group would likely be suicide. They needed to find the main force of the Holy Crusaders and 加入 their...

“The area seems secure.” Milford 说 as he looked around cautiously. The entire grassy mountain side they stood on was covered in the motionless corpses of undead Maori people who’d begun to attack the townspeople in the area. Milford wore protective gear standard for all lower ranked Vanquishers. He and his entire squad had been dispatched here on direct orders from an Archbishop in order to put down this outbreak of undead. Occurrences like these were only becoming 更多 and 更多 frequent and the UMA was beginning to become a bit...

Chapter fifteen: A long journey to Counquan

Skye rose at sunrise, yawned deeply and looked up at the reddened clouds; the sun shone through these clouds creating a red tinted light, which was shining upon Skye and the rest of his men. Gunnar arose soon after. “Good morning, Ser, beautiful sunrise isn't it?” the Commander-Captain 评论 blandly, evidently still annoyed 由 the lumber-men of Erylyn. “Yes, it sure is. Good sleep Gunnar?” Skye wondered curiously. “Hmmm, I suppose so. It's a wonder that those men of Neryl's didn't come back and try and create trouble, 或者 maybe they just...

Chapter Eleven: The Foundation of Link-Magic

'The forgotten art of link-magic has been advanced since the days of Silan, The Blessed One of Argate, who established himself 由 becoming a Great Wizard in the days of The Dark One of the Abyss. The crushing force of the Dragoon finally smashing through the gates echoed through the air as the entire magic barrier that reinforced the walls to prevent invasion shattered. The vanguard roared victoriously as they continued to charge through the now open entrance to the compound with the Dragoon still in their hands. A wave of undead warriors from the Wild Hunt converged on them immediately, only to be blown back as the Dragoon swung around fiercely. Despite being made to be a battering ram, it had been modified to work as a substitute weapon so the knights holding it wouldn’t have to...

Meanwhile…

Spencer Nicolson, who was supposed to be with the archers currently advancing on the compound, was within one of the facilities in the far back that had yet to be reached 由 the Holy Crusaders. He had a relaxed smile on his face as Sebastian Locksley stood beside him, frowning at the situation before them. In front of them, two ugly looking men who were easily twice their size looked back at them with annoyed looks.

“So 你 really did not come to surrender?” One of them grumbled in disappointment. Sebastian shook his head for what felt like the fifth time.

“As I said; I’m...

Armonath finished the story and glanced at Geltharis with interest. Geltharis stared back with an incomprehensible look upon his face. “What?” Armonath asked curiously, “did I tell some of it wrong?” he questioned the elder elf. “No... it's just that I haven't heard that story for many years” he admitted to the Dragonlord. Armonath ruffled his wings and then spoke softly. “It's a magnificent story Geltharis, especially how long 以前 it was” Armonath 说 with pride. Geltharis shrugged his shoulders.
Once the council was over, Armonath flew over the town of Trialge and landed...
