yes, it never ends, but it does tend to a get A LITTLE BIT boring once you pay off your morgage.

In the gamecube version when i paid off my ENTIRE mortage i got a gold statue

Wii version is better,after you paid off your house you can buy town items like a new bridge,lighthouse,windmill and fountine that will turn normal axes into gold or silver ones.

I play the Wii, more often, (it NEVER NEVER NEVER ends!) I'm planing once I pay off my WHOLE mortgage, I'm going to start donating to get cool stuff. :D
