I have no idea at all, why would she. If Anakin would say something like this to me, and i wish it very much, I would probably 吻乐队（Kiss） him right there, if not, then it means i have already fainted, oh, and if i fall in his arms...

And I 爱情 that picture of Anakin there as well. He just looks so...distraught. I can imagine his part in Mace's death -- basically, trying to save Padme, although I think he was also worried about Mace going off the deep end as well. Because he's Anakin, and he has a pretty clear cut sense of right and wrong, IMHO. It's one of his defining character traits some people (off Fanpop) seem to overlook -- really got to him. And I can imagine that he was probably trying to find a way to get Palpatine taken into custody (not only for...y'know, but also because it was the right thing to do. Think his discomfort over killing Dooku on INVISIBLE HAND -- without having to kill Mace. Padme's pretty much renowned for trying to find the middle ground, but I think to an extent, Anakin has that tendency to do so as well. (And he genuinely doesn't want to let down the Council. He respects them at least, even if they don't feel the same, which probably frustrated him a bit) The matter of Dooku for instance. Honestly, I think the only time he didn't was the case of the Tusken Raiders -- which I think was understandable, considering the circumstances. I don't agree with Anakin's actions, but I can imagine I'd react just as strongly if I'd been in his position. Not to mention, after the massacre, he feels genuine remorse -- not only because he took multiple lives, but because he thinks he failed as a Jedi. It was quite sweet, in a way, for Padme to comfort him the way she did. #End rambling.
