It's part of their long-awaited reunion since Ani and Obi-Wan were sent to the forefronts of the battle for months until they were charged with finding and bringing back Chancellor Palpatine, 2. It's the beginning of a new life for both Padme and Anakin because they're expecting a baby (well...babies heehee), and 3. It's a very intimate, connecting scene between the two.
