Humphrey was walking down to his 巢穴, den, 书房 with Winston and Eve one night. Kate had gone to bed, feeling sick a little "I think I'll just check on Kate." Winston told Eve "I'll do it for 你 sir." Humphrey 说 quickly, hoping an opportunity to talk to her "Thank 你 Humphrey." Winston thanked "You better not do anything stupid…or else." Eve threatened "Don't worry ma'am, I won't." Humphrey told both of them as they went off to their 巢穴, den, 书房 and then he turned his sights on Kate with a 2 pieces of caribou meat with him.
He tried to howl to let her know he was there but she was already out before he could raise his head to howl "I've got something for you." He told her trying to speak as best he can "There's nothing 你 have that I could possibly want." She 说 angrily
