Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 幻想 film directed 由 Tim 伯顿 and based on the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will utilize a technique combining live action, motion capture technology and stop motion.
Mia Wasikowska will portray Alice and the film is due for release on March 5th, 2010(USA).
Joe Roth was developing Alice in Wonderland in April 2007 at Walt 迪士尼 Pictures with Linda Woolverton as screenwriter. Woolverton added a socio-political context to the story. That November, Tim 伯顿 signed with 迪士尼 to direct two films in 迪士尼 Digital 3-D, which included Alice in Wonderland.
伯顿 dislikes the 1951 迪士尼 film adaptation. He explained "the goal is to try to make it an engaging movie where 你 get some of the psychology and kind of bring a freshness but also keep the classic nature of Alice." He also felt 3-D was appropriate to the story's environment. The film was originally to be released in 2009, but was pushed to March 5, 2010.
