will this ever get better?

i fell for my guy friend, and he says that he loves me, but i can see him with 'her'. he kissed me infront of her the other day, and she smacked him accross his face. she threatened to kill herself if he left, and so he is back with her now. it is very awkward to be around either of them. i feel like im gonna kill over cause of the pain
will this ever get better?

After trying your hardest, and it DOES'NT WORK, then I guess tell them to make up 或者 你 will have to.... how should I say it..... not be friends. Pick the person who is closest to you, and will understand. I know this sounds kinda crappy and rough, but It's better than the "Just follow your heart" crap.
