Daenerys and Jon Snow too. Daenerys is just as stupid as Catelyn or Cersei, but at least she knows how to face the music. And at least she doesn't fuck everybody. (though her constant whining about the sexual suppressions are somewhat tiring) Jon Snow is an okay character, but people tend to overrate him, because evil Catelyn disliked poor little Jon. Please. Jaime came a long way and he tends to make the RIGHT decisions and learning to see Cersei's real face improved him a lot, I like him. Arya is a little overrated yes, but I think her storyline is really exciting and she's a cute little girl, you must love her. Plus, she reminds me a lot of my own little sister. But tell me people. WHAT THE BLOODY HELL is so special about Brienne?

She's bloody awesome with a sword, maybe? And you're right, she's stupid. But her heart is in the right place and she's honorable, delamico.

I like Daenerys, but she's weak, she cannot bear making her people suffer, or disappointing them and sometimes it will happen, doesn't matter how good of a queen she might be.

Jaime is actually a bit underestimated, they say he's got shit for honor because he murdered a king that he had sworn an oath to protect, but he's far more honorable than many of the ones who say so.

My first pick would be Tyrion - sure he is smart and has a quick tongue; then what? He is self-righteous, self-absorbed and if ever there was an emo character, he's it.
Next is Arya. She started off so well now she is just a serial killer. Great.

Brienne and, to a lesser extent, Jaime are underrated.

Danerys - She started off as a terrified 13 year old with nothing but her looks and an overly-ambitious psychotic brother . Then a mere 5 years later I see the same woman with all she owns and all she has accomplished without ever selling out and I think she can never be rated highly enough.

Jon - after 40-something beautiful chapters of struggles, growth, self-actualization and victories those who still just see him as the emo boy whose stepmother hated him will never/don't want to get it.

I just don't get why everyone loves him so much

I like Jon, but he's still overrated among the fans.

I don't dislike Jon, but unlike most the fandom, I don't think he is the most interesting character around.

I liked Dany in the first book, but she got boring after that.

People who picked Jaime or Brienne... I'm not happy with you!
