How come they didn't make another movie??

I really enjoyed the first one, but i still don't understand why they didn't make another one.

They veered off the path of the series in the movie, and tied it up nicely at a spot equivalent to the 3rd book, so unless they bring back count olaf then they can't make a new movie.
