It was called ‘2 Broke Girls’ Season 6 Finale Recap: Max Engaged to Randy | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
hit the figurative jackpot in Monday’s season finale, but it remains to be seen if viewers will get a chance to see her enjoy any of her winnings.
With the CBS utility player’s fate still very much up in the air, the comedy closed out its sixth season with Kat Dennings’ proudly promiscuous bachelorette Max getting engaged to on-again, off-again boyfriend Randy (Ed Quinn). But co-showrunner Michelle Nader — who over the weekend insisted to TVLine that the finale was
crafted as a goodbye — believes the episode is more about new beginnings than happy endings. Below, the EP offers a preview of a potential Season 7.
The idea was always to get Max and Randy back together, even before the show [landed on the bubble]. We knew that. It represents growth for this character to be in a romantic relationship. She’s learned so much in terms of trusting people, and we wanted there to be some kind of reward for her taking a chance [on love].
TVLINE | With Max headed for a wedding, how will that shift the show’s dynamic in a possible Season 7?
It opens up the world a lot. Max and Caroline have always been the strongest couple on the show, and they will continue to be. But like any friendship, how does that dynamic change when someone gets a significant other? Also, Randy and [Caroline’s squeeze] Bobby [Christopher Gorham] don’t get along. And Randy is wealthy and Max is not comfortable in that world. In the way Max showed Caroline how to be poor, Caroline is going to show Max how to have money and how to be comfortable with it and not sabotage it.
TVLINE | Will Randy and Max start living together?
Max being Max, she wants to take things slowly. And she doesn’t really want to move out from Caroline, because that’s her safety net. She doesn’t want to rush things. She also doesn’t want to rush the wedding. She’s going to resist and resist.

I’m pretty sure it is going to get a season 7. Maybe CBS should stop for once moving it around the schedule. It’s been doing great wherever they put it. That was a great season finale.
If Tvbythenumbers says it’s getting renewed, it’s getting renewed.
CBS better renew 2 Broke Girls soon and possibly a proper final season.
I can take it or leave it – it was one of my ‘if there’s nothing else on’ shows. I wish that they would renew Code Black already.
This is one of those shows that just baffles me. I watched the first two episodes because I liked Kat Dennings. They were gratingly unfunny. I used to watch whatever show lead into 2 Broke Girls and would generally catch the opening up to the credits of every 2BG episode. My wife and I would laugh at the show and at the fact that their was an audience for the cheap racial stereotype jokes that opened almost every episode. We weren’t laughing at the jokes, to clarify, the opening jokes were usually unfunny and mildly racist. We would increduously laugh at how awful this show was. We would laugh out of spite for the fact that this horrible “comedy” kept getting renewed year after year while much better shows were jettisoned after 1 or 2 seasons.
How does a show like The Grinder get cancelled after 1 spectacular, original, immaculately crafted season while 2BG gets 6 years?
How did Limitless get only 1 season while 2BG gets 6 years?
How in the world did both The Mindy Project and Community get less time on a major network than 2BG?
This is the kind of injustice that one can only laugh at.
The show deserves one more. With how things are going with the storylines. Season 7 ending with a wedding makes sense.
I have really become such a fan. I hope this is not the end, though I know all shows end. Love the cast like old friends.
